What is Google?
Google, is an American multinational technology company that focuses on Internet-related services and products, which include online advertising technologies, a very big & famous search engine, cloud computing, software, and hardware. It comes under Big Four technology companies within the U.S. information technology industry, like Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft.
Founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin


Larry Page and Sergey Brin started google on Sep 1998 while they were Ph.D. students at Stanford University in California. Google got incorporated in California as a privately held company on Sep 4, 1998. Google then was reincorporated on Oct 22, 2002 in Delaware. An (IPO) took place on Aug 19, 2004, after whi Google moved its headquarters to Mountain View, California, nicknamed the Googleplex.

In 2015 Aug, Google announced that it will join with conglomerate called Alphabet Inc. Google is now Alphabet’s leading subsidiary and it will still be the umbrella company for Alphabet’s interests. Google appointed Sundar Picha its CEO in 2015, replacing previous CEO Larry Page who then became the CEO of Alphabet Inc.

Why is Google free for all?
Google is an advertising company its biggest product is you yourself, the user. Google get 5.6 billion searches per day, or 2 trillion searches per year! reported by SEOTribunal.com in 2019 although Google does not share exact numbers. Google owns 90.46% of the search engine market share worldwide.
Google use Google AdWords is one of Google product which is used by big companies to have their results displayed to a specific audiences or group. The search engine have high advanced algorithms. AdWords works on cost per click, so if you do not click a link on a specific link then Google will not gonna make any money directly from your search.
The main product is its huge users and extensive data about how you behave online. They record every move of yours every site you visit every thing on internet you click on. The data collected by Google is then used to match companies which want to show there ads to potential customers, serving up with ads that users more likely to gonna click.
Your online habits from YouTube, search and Gmail are all used to profile your behavior they keep a record on what you want if you search it online the AI is so smart it can predict even your next move. Google also follows your surfing habits & History through its Adsense & Analytics codes, which are embedded on every web pages through which it can track your interests outside of search.
Google’s AdSense allows advertisers to join its network and display ads on its website. A large number of websites use this service, Google makes money and learns more about your browsing habits with every search and your browsing data. Displaying ads is usually charged at cost per pages impressions, because the immense volume of online traffic, Ads are often sold very cheaply at a cost per thousand impressions.
Fun fact :- Google biggest drawback is the company was never able to make a social media service of its own they tried many times but failed.

The first Google Doodle was a Burning Man figure, an “out-of-office” to let everyone know that Page and Brin were at the Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert in August 1998.
